Carly is based in Essex but travels all over South East England singing and performing. Carly is often booked as the live entertainment in restaurants and bars, and most recently singing at special events such as weddings, engagement parties, balls and proms situated in Brentwood, Loughton, Chigwell and Waltham Abbey.
But Carly isn't just a wedding singer; her range of songs and musical genres spans from 60's / 70's soul and disco music, to today's most current chart hits, including some of the latest dance and rock music. Carly's wide vocal variety has often lead to her securing bookings over live bands in restaurants and bars, where the smaller venue is sometimes better suited to a solo singer / performer who can offer live entertainment without the sometimes overwhelming volume of a live band.
About Carly
Carly's journey began back in 1997 when she was cast as Nicky Di Marco in the BBC’s flagship soap, Eastenders, which she played for three years. After leaving Eastenders, Carly enjoyed further T.V credits including Harry and Cosh, The Royal Variety Performance, Soapstar Superstar, Soapstar Superchef, The All Star Talent Show plus many more. On stage Carly has played leading roles in an RJ Williamson Shakespeare Company tour, New Vic Workshop production '15 Minutes' and an Ian Dickens Tour of 'Daisy Pulls it Off'.
We cannot of course forget to mention the professional pantomimes that Carly has starred in all around the country – Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, Aladdin, Dick Whittington, Snow White and many more, working alongside the likes of Danny La Rue, Jim Davidson, Bradley Walsh, Joe Pasquale, Stephen Mulhern and many other stars.
Carly still has her hand in performing arts today and runs her own Stage School in Romford, Essex, called Act One Stage School.
In the early millennium, Carly had UK Chart success with R&B girl-band, Urban Lady, with whom she performed at major venues all around the UK, supporting various popular artists.
Since then, Carly has been performing as a vocalist at weddings, birthday parties, private parties, christenings, restaurants, bars, corporate events, Christmas parties and holiday parks all over the south east of England, for the past five years. Her typical set repertoire is very broad and can be tailored to meet specific client's needs and includes R&B, Soul, Pop, Disco, Rock and Ballads.
